In July 2024, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office underwent a thorough assessment conducted by a team of four experienced law enforcement professionals, selected by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. The assessors, trained specifically for such evaluations, spent three days reviewing the Sheriff’s Office’s policies, procedures, practices, and facilities to ensure compliance with 235 established standards.
