Suspects get away with stolen grape equipment in Traver

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Detectives are actively searching for the suspects responsible for stealing grape-picking equipment, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday.

Deputies say on Saturday morning they responded to a report of grand theft of trailers and grape-picking equipment on Ave 360, east of Road 52 in Traver.

Investigators were informed the theft occurred between Oct 17 and Oct. 19.

Detectives report that the suspects accessed the grape vineyard and drove away with both trailers, which were set to be picked up from the freshly picked vineyard.

Deputies say the victim arrived at the vineyard to remove the trailers on Saturday only to discover they were missing.
