One suspect is in custody after an armed robbery in Brooklyn Park Saturday.
Brooklyn Park PD says officers were called to the 6700 block of Oak Grove Parkway North at around 11:15 a.m., when the victim had arranged to meet the suspect after agreeing to sell some shoes online.
At the scene, the buyer attempted to rob the seller at gunpoint, eventually striking them with the handgun.
While on the way to the scene, officers saw a car that matched the description of that of the suspect. Officers conducted a traffic stop, and the suspect was arrested on aggravated robbery charges.
The handgun was also recovered from the scene after a witness saw the suspect throw it from the car.
