The Nashville Predators, desperately in need of a spark after going 0-5-0 to start the 2024-25 season, have recalled forward Zachary L’Heureux from the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Boston Bruins.
L’Heureux, the Predators’ first-round pick (No. 27 overall) in the 2021 NHL Draft, has five points (3 goals, 2 assists) in four games for Milwaukee this season. In his rookie AHL season with the Admirals in 2023-24, he tallied 48 points (19 goals, 29 assists) in 66 games.
This marks L’Heureux’s first-ever NHL call-up. While the Predators have yet to announce whether he will be in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against Boston, it seems likely that the 21-year-old will be making his NHL debut for Nashville sometime this week.
