Apache Junction household hazardous waste collection day Nov. 16

The city of Apache Junction’s next household hazardous waste event is 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 16, at the public works yard, 575 E. Baseline Ave.

Accepted items are:

  • Household hazardous waste materials: used oil, coolant, paint, aerosol cans, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, etc.
  • White goods: washers, dryers, hot water heaters.
  • Electronics: all types of computers and TVs.
  • Document shredding on-site.
  • Passenger vehicle tires (without rims).

The event will not be accepting paper, cardboard, cans, metal, bulk trash items like sofas or mattresses.

This event is only for residents of Apache Junction and those living in Pinal County north and east of the city, including Gold Canyon. It is open to residential properties only — no commercial waste will be accepted.
