ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A man is behind bars after allegedly stealing two cars and breaking into a truck, according to an arrest report from the St. Petersburg Police Department.
In August, two separate vehicles were reported stolen, one from the Municipal Marina and another from Central Ave. and 5th Street.
Both vehicles were later found and DNA evidence taken from the vehicles reportedly pointed to Michael King III, 23, from St. Petersburg.
Additionally, surveillance footage allegedly shows King breaking into a white and blue Nissan Frontier in August, where he reportedly stole a lunch box that contained a multipurpose knife.
King faces two charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and one count of armed robbery.
