APOLLO BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County man claimed the top prize in the “100X THE CASH” scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery announced Monday.
The Lottery said James Muckenthaler, 42, of Apollo Beach, received his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 13220 US Highway 301 South in Riverview. The store will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.
The “100X THE CASH” game costs $10 and features more than $243.4 million in total cash prizes, with overall odds of winning being 1-in-3.49.
