Amarillo gas prices fall 11.0 cents, average $2.63/gallon on Monday

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — According to the most recent report from GasBuddy, gas prices in Amarillo fell 11 cents per gallon in the last week to reach an average of $2.63/gallon on Monday. Those prices were noted as 8.5 cents lower than a month ago and 54.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

GasBuddy reported that the cheapest station in Amarillo was priced at $2.49/gallon on Sunday while the most expensive was $2.79/gallon, a difference of 30 cents. The lowest price in Texas on Sunday was $2.15/gallon while the most expensive was $3.59/gallon, a difference of $1.44.

Nationally, the price of gas fell 3.3 cents in the last week to reach an average of $3.13/gallon, down 6.2 cents from a month ago and 39.7 cents lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 1.3 cents from a week ago and stands at $3.56/gallon.

  • Lubbock- $2.59/g, down 11.1 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.70/g.
  • Midland Odessa- $2.73/g, down 13.5 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.87/g.
  • Oklahoma- $2.66/g, down 7.6 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.74/g.
