SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Week two of the Leilani Simon murder trial is set to begin.
Over 20 witness testimonies and hours of video and cell phone-extracted evidence are what the jury has so far in deciding the fate of Simon. She is standing trial for the murder of her 20-month-old son, Quinton .
Prosecutors are trying to prove Simon killed Quinton and threw away his body in a dumpster overnight between Oct. 4 and Oct. 5, 2022.
Witness testimony continues at 10 a.m. on day six of the trial.
