Arkansas State Fair ends with more than 550,000 people attending in 2024, second largest in fair history

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas State Fair ended Sunday with more than half a million people attending this year.

Officials with the fair said 550, 899 people attended over the 10-day event, making it the second largest in fair history.

Arkansas State Fair sees record-breaking opening weekend

This year, the fair recorded the largest opening day attendance in the last 10 years with more than 44,000 people. The fair went on to pull in more than 180,000 people within the first three days of opening, officials said.

“We were thrilled to see so many people pouring in each day,” general manager Tiffany Wilkerson said. “There is a lot of planning and hard work that goes into this event, so it’s rewarding to see it pay off and to know we are doing something right.”

Concerts at the Barton Coliseum also made a return at this year’s fair, with shows from Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Quiet Riot, Vixen, Dru Hill, Ginuwine, Chase Rice and Ella Langley.
