Bills’ Josh Allen Says ‘Everybody Eats’ Including New Receiver Amari Cooper

The Buffalo Bills advanced to 5-2 on Sunday after defeating the Tennessee Titans, 34-10.

It was a great day for the Bills’ offense, who out-gained the Titans’ offense, 389-to-289. Josh Allen finished the game with 323 passing yards and two touchdowns, one of which went to new acquisition Amari Cooper. He finished the day with 66 yards and a touchdown on four catches.

After Buffalo acquired Cooper last week, there were a lot of discussions centered around whether or not the unit’s “everybody eats” mindset from the start of the season still applied. Many expected Cooper to fill a role similar to Stefon Diggs in past seasons.

However, after the game, Allen made it clear that the offense’s mindset hasn’t changed.

“That’s the mindset that we’ve always had, is ‘everybody eats,’” Allen said. “Just because we get a guy like him and his caliber doesn’t mean we’re going to try to force-feed him targets. Everybody’s going to be in their position and do their role, and again, some weeks we’re going to ask more from other guys than others. That’s just kind of how we’ve been doing it, but it was good to see our guys getting involved today.”
