3 juveniles wanted in Clovis golf cart assault, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Police in Clovis are working to identify the three juveniles who officers say used a golf cart to assault a woman before fleeing the scene.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the incident took place on Sunday at around 11:20 a.m. close to where Barstow Avenue intersects with Agua Dulche Avenue. The location is close to the intersection of Barstow Avenue and Leonard Avenue.

A woman reported to police that three juveniles on a golf cart were driving recklessly on the canal nearby, officers say. The driver of the golf cart then went on to drive into both the woman and her car – before driving the golf cart away from the scene.

The incident is being investigated as a felony assault. Investigators are working to identify the suspects who were in the golf cart. No arrests have been made at this time.
