Legends Comics made light of the vandalism in their post saying: “If this portly gentleman is your friend can you let him know that we have never been open at 3 a.m. so there’s nobody inside to help him.”

The reaction online was overwhelmingly in support of the comic book shop, as users chimed in and commented kind words of affirmation.

The following day, Legends Comics posted again about the window, this time to announce that the actor who played the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, Steve Cardenas, learned about their shop’s vandalism.

According to the post , Cardenas offered to do a meet and greet at the shop to help pay for the damages done.
