Vancouver road rage leads to shotgun blast into windshield

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man is in custody after a road rage incident escalated to the point a shotgun slug was fired through the windshield of the victim’s car, Vancouver police said on their Facebook page.

Around 8 p.m. Sunday, the road rage began between the two vehicles at I-5 and 78th Street, authorities said. Both drivers headed to their homes — which are just a block apart — but the victim tried to get the other driver’s license plate number.

That’s when, police said, a man fired a shotgun into the windshield of the other car, missing the driver but going through an empty child’s car seat.
