BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Preparations are already underway for the 83rd Magic City Classic at Legion Field.
Those wanting to tailgate showed up early on Monday and folks are still coming out to buy game day tickets. You can also purchase those tickets by clicking here .
CBS 42 spoke to Hilton Crenshaw, a die-hard Alabama A&M fan whose been attending the Magic City Classic for over three decades. He drove from Calera Monday morning to purchase his tickets.
“I’m very excited, very excited, I got my access pass to fun, absolutely,” Crenshaw exclaimed.
Crenshaw graduated from Alabama A&M University in 1993. His older brother, younger sister, and cousin also went to Alabama A&M, so Saturday’s game is not to be missed.

“We come here every year and it’s like a family reunion and we get together we have good food, good time, and we go to the game,” Crenshaw explained.
Magic City Classic Executive Director Perren King is expecting yet another large crowd ahead of the big game. He’s advising fans to take the shuttle to get out to Legion Field on Saturday.
