A combine fire Friday evening led to the immediate transport of a local Mulberry farmer to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition. On Friday, Oct. 18 just before 6 p.m., deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reportedly responded to a fully-engulfed combine fire in the area of County Road 850 West and County Road 500 North. First responders stated that upon initial arrival, both male occupants were safely outside of the equipment engulfed in flames.
