INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – A bank robbery Monday morning in Independence is under investigation by the FBI. It happened at 10:39 a.m. Monday when authorities said an older man with short grey hair and a black leather jacket with patches walked into Hawthorn Bank and made a demand for cash.
