RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. – An early look at the absentee voting numbers suggest a pretty good turnout for the upcoming election. There was a steady pace on Monday at curbside absentee voting in Rankin County for those who are disabled or elderly. Clay Landry, 93, said he doesn’t want to wait for Nov. 5. He’s legally blind and brought his daughter with him for absentee voting.
