Woman, 75, attacked unprovoked at E. Harlem subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 75-year-old woman was viciously attacked unprovoked by a man at a subway station in East Harlem early Tuesday morning, leaving her with facial injuries, police said.

The victim was inside of the 125th Street 4/5/6 station shortly after 12:30 a.m. when she was approached by a man.

He violently shoved her to the ground and fled on foot, police said.

She suffered a laceration to her lip and bruising to her face, according to police.

She was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition.

Images of the suspect haven’t yet been released as the investigation continues.
