Man arrested after DUI crash in Madera

MADERA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man has been arrested following a DUI crash in Madera, the Madera Police Department said.

Officers say they responded to the area of West Yosemite Avenue and North Q Street in Madera regarding a two-vehicle traffic collision on Sunday afternoon.

Police say one of the drivers, Alex Magallon, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. As a result, Magallon was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail. As of Monday, it is unknown if there were any injuries from the crash.

The Madera Police Department reminds the public to not drink and drive as the holiday season approaches.
