Nine people were recently rescued from a boat taking on water in Lake Michigan, officials said. U.S. Coast Guard Station Milwaukee received a report of a 21-foot vessel taking on water in Milwaukee Harbor, USCG Great Lakes Sector said in a post on X. There were five adults and four children aboard, and the water was up to their shoes. The boat had lost all electronics, including lights. It was within sight of the USCG station.
