WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Detectives in D.C. are working to learn what led to a shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead on Monday afternoon.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on Oct. 21, just after 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2700 block of Bruce Place Southeast for a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
As the investigation continued, police identified the victim as 21-year-old Malkijah Clark, of Southeast.
MPD urges anyone with information about the shooting to call 202-727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411. Tips can remain anonymous.
Police said they are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
