Illegal immigrants detained in Florida for trafficking a 15-year-old runaway girl from New York City

Authorities in Palm Beach County, Florida, announced Monday that they had detained two illegal migrants concerning the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl from New York City.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office claimed during a press conference that detectives started working on the case after receiving an anonymous tip about a teenage runaway who had been missing since September 12 and was thought to be the victim of a sex trafficking network.

As a pretext to recover the child, investigators located them using commercial sex advertisements and started communicating with them. The kid was discovered by detectives at a Motel 6 in Riviera Beach. Two people who were both involved in the sex trafficking were two to three doors down, she said.

The girl was trafficked to Florida

According to investigators, the victim was trafficked to Florida to engage in sex acts for financial gain after being recruited in New York City. She was made to perform sex acts at least ten times, according to officials.

The kid was sex trafficked by Enyerbert Blanco, a 27-year-old Venezuelan national who had already been deported, and Yenire Karolina Pache Coleiton, a 33-year-old Colombian national.

According to Bradshaw, authorities are still looking into the sex trafficking, although it is thought to have connections to a Venezuelan gang.
