Jersey City Public Schools Host Community Outreach Roundtable

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Jersey City Public School District held their first Community Outreach Roundtable on Oct. 9.

The event, billed as an opportunity for the community to gather and create community connections, with a view towards developing solutions that benefit residents and students, as we all the larger community, was hosted by Cynthia Small, Executive Assistant of Equity, Family, Community Outreach, and the Office of Communications.

Participants included Superintendent Dr. Norma Fernández, BOE President Dejon Morris, Robert Pruchnik, Esq.; Rhudell Snelling; Congresswoman LaMonica McIver; Chief Weldon Powell; Andrés Acebo; Reverend Derrick L. Green; Charles Mainor; Mini Hamm Elizabeth Lorenzo; Det. Bonita Martin and Carol Lamparello.
