Delaware Housing Authority announces add’l rental housing vouchers in Kent, Sussex

DOVER — The Delaware State Housing Authority announced adding 210 new vouchers into Delaware’s affordable rental market in Kent and Sussex County on Oct. 21.

These project-based vouchers allow rental assistance to be attached to a specific unit instead of an assisted family, and are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program is designed to promote the preservation and expansion of affordable units in Delaware.

The vouchers are split in half between the counties. In Kent, they are available in the Commerce Square Apartments, Milford Crossing Apartments, Villas at Milford Crossing and Brightway Commons II. In Sussex, they are available at Foster Commons, Georgetown Apartments II, Villas II at Delmar and two projects that have yet to be built: Willows at Northstar and Mispillion Station II.
