In the movie “Office Space”, there’s a scene in which the movie’s protagonist, Peter Gibbons, profoundly unfulfilled in his life, visits a hypnotherapist. “I’m sitting in my cubicle today,” Peter tells the hypnotherapist, “And I realized that ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So … every single day you see me, that’s the worst day of my life.”
