FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A 93-year-old Fresno woman received help from firefighters to fix her late husband’s flag pole over the weekend.
The Fresno Fire Department says that the woman who lives in Fresno needed help fixing her late husband’s flag pole.
According to the fire department, firefighters with Engine 14 and Ladder 18 gladly answered the call.
Pictures show firefighters putting the flag on the rope. In one picture, it shows that a firefighter used a ladder to reach the top of the flag pole.
Crews say with a knack for ropes and knots, the pros quickly had the “Old Glory” flag flying high once again.
