Reese stole thousands of dollars from slot machines at a hotel in Bellevue. Hotel staff reported that the gambling machines in the lobby had been broken into, resulting in the theft of cash. Surveillance footage captured three separate incidents in which a total of $14,025 was stolen.
In addition to the stolen money, an estimated $500 worth of damage was inflicted on the machines. A Green Bay police officer later identified Reese as one of the suspects in the footage.
Reese was arrested on Oct. 31, 2023, and admitted to authorities that he had committed the thefts, claiming he did not keep any of the stolen money.
