Socorro Police seek better community ties with National Night Out

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — The Socorro Police Department wants to strengthen its ties to the community with a National Night Out event.

The 2024 National Night Out event will be held in conjuction with the City’s Fright Farm haunted house from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at 910 N. Rio Vista Road.

Attendees will be able to meet with local law enforcement and first responders.

The event is free and will feature more than 25 vendors, music, a haunted house, costume contest, free pet adoptions and microchipping and giveaways.

“National Night Out is a vital initiative aimed at strengthening the bonds between our community and law enforcement,” Socorro Police Chief Robert C. Rojas said. “We invite everyone to join us for an evening that promises not only entertainment but also an opportunity to enhance safety and building community connections.”
