POWELL, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is underway after a body was found in Powell Tuesday afternoon. According to Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler, the body was found on a trail off of Cranley Road in the Broad Acres subdivision of Powell just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
