French fries help Evansville teachers get supplies in their classrooms

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Local McDonald’s restaurants in the Evansville area have raised over $4,000 for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation Foundation.

Officials say the restaurants raised money during their “Fries for School Supplies” fundraiser across the region and raised a total of $4,073.71. Representatives from the restaurants presented the check to EVSC educators Tuesday morning.

The funds were donated to the EVSC Foundation’s Teacher Locker which helps provide educators with supplies for their classrooms.
