Springfield School Board approves new school boundaries, expanded bus ridership eligibility

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)-The Springfield public school board voted unanimously Tuesday night to expand the age limit for students who are eligible to ride a bus to school. Right now, kids have to live 1.5 miles more more away from their school to ride the bus. Starting next fall, that distance would drop to just a mile. That means around 1,100 more elementary students will be eligible to ride a bus to school.
