EAST BOSTON, Mass. – Boston first responders spent the night practicing how they would protect passengers in an active shooter situation at Logan Airport. The active shooter drill at Logan Airport involved state police, the Transportation Security Administration and hundreds of volunteers. The exercise, which took 18 months to prepare, aimed to simulate a realistic emergency with fake wounds and blood.
