MONROE COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A two-vehicle crash in Monroe County resulted in the death of a Montgomery man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred on Friday, Oct. 18, around 6:05 p.m. and claimed the life of 31-year-old Thomas A. Williams.
The crash occurred on Alabama 21 near the 58-mile marker, which is about 14 miles north of Monroeville.
Williams was seriously injured when the 2011 Honda Accord he was driving collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado.
He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola where he died on Monday, Oct. 21.
Mobile City Council remembers Mel Showers
The driver of the Chevrolet was seriously injured and transported to Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville, and the passenger of the Chevrolet was also seriously injured and transported to USA Hospital in Mobile.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
