EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Ascension St. Vincent is highlighting the services offered to new mothers in a time of transition. Eyewitness News was offered a look inside the Healthy Beginnings Program on Tuesday.
The program, which started in 2017, offers services for mothers in the in-between time from being discharged from the hospital to their first visit with a pediatrician. The program assists mothers in finding doctors and other services.
Lacy Hanmore of Ascension St. Vincent says new mothers can visit as many times as they like at no charge unless lab work is needed.
