E. coli Outbreak Linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders Sickens 49 in 10 States, Including CO

According to a new report by AP, a deadly E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s popular Quarter Pounders sickened 49 people in 10 states – including CO. According to the report, out of the 49 people – one person died and 10 were hospitalized.

According to the report, the individual who passed away was an elderly person in CO – while one child was hospitalized with severe kidney complications.

The infections were reported between September 27 through October 11 in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. According to the report, CO has the most cases, 26, while Nebraska has the second most with nine.
