Crash with tractor-trailer leaves Phenix City man dead

ALABAMA ( WRBL ) — A crash involving a tractor-trailer on early morning Wednesday has left a Phenix City man dead, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Christian Amaya-Marquez, 20, was driving a Jeep that ALEA says left the roadway, striking a parked tractor-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened at 1:39 a.m. on U.S. 431 near mile marker 57 — about eight miles south from Eufaula.
