As pickleball’s popularity climbs in Wisconsin, so do related injuries

WISCONSIN – As the popularity of pickleball continues to climb across the country and in Wisconsin, so do the number of related-injuries. “With pickleball, what I’ve seen is that there are upper- and lower-extremity injuries,” said Dr. Jonathan Dunker with Prevea Health. “I think it has to do with the sport itself and the rapid side-to-side motion and the running.”
