A 13-year-old student was arrested Wednesday morning for allegedly leaving a loaded gun in a park near North Albany Middle School. School staff notified police around 9:10 a.m. that they found a handgun on a retaining wall directly across the street in the park, which the school uses as a recess area, Albany Police said. Officers recovered the 9mm handgun.
