Over $4.5 million Sanger Unified project unveiled

SANGER, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Sanger Unified School District unveiled an almost $5 million project that will benefit the community and aid students.

On Tuesday, school officials held a ribbon cutting to unveil the new Fairmont Farmers Market. The market is part of a $4.8 million investment that also includes a 2-acre farm and a greenhouse.

The construction began in mid-May of 2023 and is just phase one of multiple other additions officials say are soon to follow. The other phases will include a livestock shelter, barn, WET/Plant Science area, and innovation/maker space.
