The new tour, along with dozens of new and trending fall events, experiences and more, were recently announced by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development .
New bars, restaurants, retail, hotels, seasonal events and more were noted across the state, but this event is different.
It takes place on a site involving the centuries-old Bell family haunting.
Historic Bell Witch Cave Co-Owner and Director of Operations Candy Hooten, along with her co-owner brother and sister Bryan Kirby and Melinda Savage, said the family decided to introduce the new history-focused tours after their mother, the cave property owner, expressed her desire to offer its hidden history to guests.
