CENTRAL ILLINOIS (25News Now) – Young voters in Central Illinois want to make sure their voices are heard this election. Thursday morning, 90 first-time voters in Peoria couldn’t wait. Yanni Collective took 180 students from Peoria to the Peoria Election Commission for their third Mind Over Matter event. Half of the students voted early, and the other half who were unable to vote learned more about elections.
