WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police gathered in Winston-Salem on Thursday afternoon to investigate after a body was found outside a parking deck, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.
At 4:30 p.m., Winston-Salem officers responded to a call for service at the intersection of 3rd Street and Church Street in reference to a security check.
Arriving officers found one person dead outside the parking deck. At this time, the cause of death is unknown.
Police do not suspect foul play.
The investigation is ongoing.
