Leslie Charleson is reportedly doing well
Virginia General Hospital fans, there is a good report but also disappointing news about Leslie Charleson. The actress has been portraying Monica Quartermaine since 1977 but has dealt with several health challenges in recent years.
The good news is that the soap vet has been seen out and about this month. The unfortunate part is that, according to Soaps in Depth, she may never return to General Hospital.
Monica may not return to Port Charles
Closer Weekly reports that an unnamed source revealed that Charleson was seen eating lunch, using a walker, and “doing OK under the circumstances and in no rush to push herself.”
The unnamed source revealed that while Leslie Charleson would be welcomed back to General Hospital with open arms, she likely will not return. This is sad news for Virginia viewers who may have been expecting Monica to show up and tell Tracy Quartermaine that it’s her house because Alan gave it to her.
