CORVALLIS, Ore. — Progress on the Van Buren Bridge project is moving forward steadily, with crews recently completing one of the most challenging parts of the construction. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the deep foundation shafts — critical components of the bridge — are now finished, but there’s still plenty of work ahead before the bridge is ready for use.
