Unseasonably Warm Conditions Likely Across the Southeast & Gulf Coast
Good morning everyone. Aside from some showers and light thundershowers across parts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, there’s not much going on aside from our next push of cool to cold conditions coming in for this weekend.
That will be courtesy of a cold front sweeping through the Great Lakes region, then into the Northeast and New England. However, those cool days and cold overnights will be short-lived as warmer air is setting itself up for a big return as a ridge tries to build into the Midwest and Southeast.
This will help push unseaonably mild to warm air north into the Central States, then into the Northeast for a very mild/warm Halloween for areas of New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Temperatures ranging from near 70 to the upper 70’s are quite possible during Wednesday and Thursday, with maybe a “bonus” day on Friday Noevmber 1st depending on the timing of our cold front.
Across the Southeast and Guld Coast, 80 degree temps return in a big way and try to stick around into the first week of November. We’ll keep an eye on how long the unseasonably mild ot warm conditions last, but at minimum, we have ourselves a very mild/warm Halloween on the way for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast.
