SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Arc of the Ozarks Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center is hosting a sensory-safe trick-or-treat event this weekend.
On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 4-8 p.m., children can practice trick-or-treating skills in a safe and calm environment while getting fun treats from volunteers and local businesses.
Both candy and non-candy options will be available for trick-or-treaters, along with snacks and games.
Each family must register in advance so sensory stimulation is kept to a minimum. Tickets are free and still available on the Arc of the Ozarks website .
