CARENCRO, La. ( KLFY ) — No one was injured in a large house fire in Carencro this morning, authorities said.
Carencro Fire Department, along with Lafayette, Duson and Scott fire departments, responded at 3:23 a.m. today to a house fire at 226 Lindsey Circle. Firefighters found heavy fire on the left side of the home. The house next door was beginning to catch fire but firefighters were able to stop that home from burning before concentrating on the main fire, officials said.
The home at 226 Lindsey sustained heavy fire and smoke damage. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities said.
