A man has succumbed to his injuries after being shot last night in Durham, marking the city’s latest bout with gun violence in a week marred by shootings. At approximately 8:41 p.m., Durham Police were called to the 3000 block of East Weaver Street where they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. As reported by ABC11, he was quickly taken to a local hospital, yet despite medical efforts, the man was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. His identity has yet not been released pending the notification of family members.
