People driving near West 26th Street and Peninsula Drive in Millcreek on Friday may have noticed some new signage along the road.
A new sign was built at the intersection showing businesses in the plaza with the top reading “Millcreek Gateway.”

According to Millcreek Township officials, the sign was approved by the zoning board in June of this year.
The owners of the property, Millcreek Realty Associates, LTD, obtained a building permit and finished putting up the new sign on Thursday.

Because it was put up by the owners of the property, the township had no involvement in its construction beyond approval.
There is no word on whether this means there are more developments coming to the plaza or not.
